In therapy, I want to work together to explore patterns of behavior, communication, and thoughts that may be keeping you stuck. I will provide you with guidance, tools, and strategies, but ultimately, therapy is a partnership. It's about creating a trusting, non-judgmental environment where you can be heard, understood, and empowered to make lasting changes.
Taking the step to begin therapy is a courageous decision—one that can lead to profound growth, healing, and greater well-being. If you're ready to take the first step toward a healthier, more fulfilling life, therapy can be the support you need to get there.

Sessions generally last about 50 minutes and are often scheduled on a weekly basis, particularly at the start of therapy. Many clients come to therapy after facing ongoing challenges, and weekly sessions provide structure and accountability to help you stay focused on your goals. As we progress, we can reassess the frequency of sessions to determine what continues to be most beneficial. Some individuals may find that as they experience growth and healing, fewer sessions are required. We can adjust the schedule as needed to ensure it supports your continued progress and long-term well-being.
The number of sessions required varies depending on the individual's situation and needs. Your therapist will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan.
I accept cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle. Credit cards and debit cards are also accepted with an extra fee of $10.
Payment in full is collected at the time of service, as there is no in-network arrangement with any insurance companies. A superbill can be provided for submission to your insurance company independently, if desired. Please note that submitting to insurance may result in a request for records from them.

I work best with clients who are motivated and open to making positive changes in their lives through a willingness to explore new perspectives. My clients often face challenges such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, and stress, and are seeking meaningful, lasting transformation. I also specialize in working with individuals who have experienced various types of trauma, helping them heal and regain a sense of control in their lives.
In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a client and psychotherapist. No information is disclosed without prior written permission from the client.
However, there are some exceptions required by law to this rule. These exceptions include:
The initial session is an opportunity for you to begin sharing your story, discuss your goals, and identify areas you'd like to change. It's also a time for us to determine if we’re a good fit for each other—do you feel comfortable and trust me to support you? This session marks the beginning of building a collaborative relationship that will serve as the foundation for our work together. You’ll start to clarify your goals, and I’ll begin to tailor an approach to help you achieve them.
I require 24 hours' notice for cancellations; otherwise, the full session fee will be charged. In cases of emergency, an exception may be considered. Consistent attendance is essential for making meaningful progress in therapy.
A medical doctor is not part of this practice. While many clients find medication helpful, others make significant progress in therapy without it. For evaluation of psychiatric medication, reaching out to a primary care physician or psychiatrist is recommended. For clients already on medication, collaboration with the prescribing doctor can be arranged to ensure coordinated care.
I do not provide custody evaluations or recommendations, medication or prescription guidance, nor legal advice, as these are outside the scope of my practice. My practice does not include treatment for eating disorders, psychotic disorders (such as schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder), or personality disorders. Due to state licensing regulations, I am only able to offer therapy and counseling to individuals residing in California.
